Sixty golfers competed in round six of the Pennants business house competition at the Fiji Golf Club course in Vatuwaqa, Suva last Sunday.
Club media person Kamini Singh said competition has been competitive with three more rounds remaining and teams trying to score the most points to win the trophy. “We have 10 Pennants teams and each team has six participants, so a total of 60 competitors,” she said.
“Every team has prepared well for the competition with their own strategy and plans.
“Since only three more rounds are left to be played, the top teams are trying their best to maintain the lead.” Round seven will take place on August 13.
Round 6 results: Veterans 8-4 Pac Harbour; Complete Insurance 8-4 Future Electronics; PKF 8-4 W&G; Golden Manufacturers 9-3 Pirates; Swire Shipping 8-4 Rosy Hearts.
Placings: Golden Manufacturers 53 points, Complete Insurance 45 points, Future Electronics 43 points, Pirates/Swire Shipping/PKF 35 points each, Rosy Hearts 33 points, Pac Harbour 30 points, Veterans/W&G 27 points each.
