QUEEN Victoria School’s cadet passing-out parade last Saturday included the unveiling of the school’s new colours.
The new colours was gifted by the QVS Old Boys serving in the British Army and it replaces the 70-year-old standard introduced in 1952.
Officiating at the event, Prime Minister and former student Sitiveni Rabuka emphasised the importance of discipline.
Mr Rabuka pleaded with the cadets to embrace their culture and heritage in order to provide a positive example for other young Fijians.
He also encouraged them to excel in whatever they choose to do.
