The Fiji Water Flying Fijians attracted a huge crowd at Nukubalavu Village, Savusavu when they arrived for a traditional welcome to be hosted by villagers.
Nukubalavu villager Ricoh Raturaciri, older brother of Frank Lomani said there were lots of excitement as children surrounded the rugby players while they made their way to the village hall.
“The players brought an excitement that took all villagers out of their houses and waited at the hall for them,” he said.
“We will never for get this day.”
The team arrived in Nabouwalu, Bua this morning and crossed through Savusavu to Taveuni for their week-long training program.
