Vision Investments Ltd has forged a new partnership with Leadership Fiji, an organisation aimed at assisting emerging leaders.
The partnership was formally signed on June 2, 2023.
Leadership Fiji chief executive officer Sharyne Fong said, “witnessing the progress that our country has made, we are finding a lot of our alumni are making a difference, whether in their organisations, in the country or in their communities”.
“For us, that is always a proud moment, and it is partners like Vision Investments Ltd that make it happen.”
Vision Investments CEO Sanjesh Prasad said “we believe that through this partnership with Leadership Fiji, we will help build, nurture and support the future leaders of this country”.
“We realise the importance of forming strategic alliances with organisations in Fiji that cannot only develop people nation-wide, but also develop the future leaders of this company,” he said.
Vision Investments general manager of finance Niraj Bhartu, a Leadership Fiji alumnus himself, said the program opened one up to considering diverse perspectives and provides invaluable networking opportunities.
“I was part of the program early into my career. Leadership Fiji helped me build that foundation, so I would highly recommend the program to those aspiring to be leaders,” he said.
Vision Investments manager of culture and development Hollis Toaisi said, “we are looking forward to the program and the networking opportunities, but also getting our people to understand the humbleness and empathy needed for leadership roles, the emotional intelligence”.
“We’re keen to develop our people in that area, and we know Leadership Fiji will show us the pathway for that,” Mr Toaisi said.
Vision Investments is now among the key and crucial supporters of Leadership Fiji and is part of the funding pool that enables all Leadership Fiji programs, including the core program that runs from March to November, the high school leaders training program, and the children’s program that is yet to be realised.
