Known as ‘The Razor’ in the local boxing arena, Junior Farzan Ali will be banking on his experience when he takes on the Fiji Super Bantamweight title holder, Jnr Binnu Singh, at the 2023 FMF Boxing Series next month.

Ali, who has been in the local boxing industry for the past two decades, knows his opponent will be out looking for an upset.

“I have fought his father, Binnu Snr, five times, with two wins and one draw and I know he will be out to prove himself against me,” the veteran said.

Ali lost to Binnu Singh on two occasions as well.

Ali said he knew this would be a very special fight for Singh and would show him what boxing is all about when they battle it out for the Featherweight title on June 10.

“It will be a very special fight for him, I know it will, and I am ready to take him on.” Ali admitted that this would be no walk in the park, but is confident to take on the youngster.

“My family has been very supportive in my training sessions over the past few weeks, always encouraging me.”

Despite the age difference between the duo, Ali is promising his fans a knockout when he faces Singh.

“I will take this guy down, it will be a knockout fight, I know it.

“I know this will be one of my toughest fights, and I will be honoring my brother’s legacy when I take on Singh.”
