InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has launched a poolside ordering service at the property’s family pool and the adults only pool, which allows for a seamless and efficient poolside ordering experience.
IHG Hotels & Resorts area general manager South Pacific Lachlan Walker said: “As we continue to expand our footprint in the South Pacific, we are committed to continuously enhancing our products and services to meet the evolving needs of today’s travellers, while also providing greater value for those seeking an unforgettable holiday experience in Fiji.”
Each poolside seat location is assigned a unique QR code that once scanned, opens a mobile ordering platform where guests can order their food and beverage selections right from their smartphone or tablet.
The order gets billed to the guest’s room and goes straight to the restaurant and bar, allowing for faster service at all the poolside seating locations.
The resort has also replaced all mattresses in all guest rooms, opting instead for custom mattresses manufactured in Fiji that are reportedly engineered for a superior sleep experience.
All three IHG Fiji hotels, namely InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, the Grand Pacific Hotel and Holiday Inn Suva, have replaced their LCD TVs with brand-new Samsung Smart TVs.
Each room across the three hotels also features a sleek Samsung soundbar and an alarm clock with a wireless phone charger, which they hope will improve the entertainment experience in all guest rooms.
“These updates showcase IHG Fiji’s ongoing commitment to use technology to improve guest experience,” Mr Walker said.
