A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers lies over Fiji and is expected to affect the group till later Wednesday.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says a northwest wind flow prevails over the country.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, expect occasional showers over most places.
Isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls expected.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
Moderate northwest winds, fresh at times with moderate to rough seas.
The outlook for Thursday, expect some showers and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu area, Naitasiri, northeastern Macuata, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Southern parts of Viti Levu (Navua till Sigatoka).
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with isolated afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate northwest winds. Moderate to rough seas.
