Shakil Zoro, the owner of one of the country’s most popular eatery, Coffee Hub Fiji, is the winner of the 2022 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards rising star category.
An emotional Zoro dedicated his award to his team.
He also urged youths of the country to work hard to be able to achieve their dreams.
Tour Managers Fiji director Damend Goundar scooped the lifetime achievement award.
Sofitel Resort and Spa employee Rafaele Delai won the tourism cultural champion and his workmate Irfaan Ali won the employee excellence in service.
The Visionary award went to Roger Dold and Chris Jacobs.
The award night’s gala dinner is currently underway at the Sofitel Resort and Spa on Denarau.
