2023 McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s: Army rules men’s final

The Ram Sami Army side is the new champion of the 2023 McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s tournament after defeating a gusty Fire side 12-5 in the final.

Fire struck first in the first spell and scored the lone try to lead 5–nil at half-time.

They had the opportunity to increase the lead in the second spell but good defense from Army kept the score at 5–nil.

Army saved the best for last, scoring two tries in the final four minutes to claim their first ever Coral Coast 7s title.

Tries from Serupepeli Nakita and Rokoua Rasaku ensured Army won the men’s division title.
