Fijian professional boxer Nathan Singh “The Prince of Fiji” has won his second consecutive fight in Australia.
Singh defeated Luke Martin on a unanimous point’s decision in the featherweight category.
The 23-year-old Fijian got the better of the points from all three judges, with a score of 50-45 from all three in his favour.
He now has a professional career record of six wins, one draw and one loss.
“The fight would’ve went much more different, I was sick and had repeatedly vomited and I had a consistent diarrhoea. Despite all that, I didn’t want to let my fans and the people of my nation down, as we Fijians are labelled as true warriors, the year has come to an end, team “Prince of Fiji” is looking forward to 2023 where we have lined up seven fights already for the entire year,” Singh said after the fight.
He acknowledged the support received from towards the fight.
“Thank u so much to everyone who has supported me all throughout this year most importantly my lord and saviour Jesus Christ, Blue Gas (Mr Ajai Punja), the Devlin Family, Koda Nasser, my family back home (the Singh Family), the Nambiar family (Ash and Jija) and not forgetting the people of Fiji for motivating me and getting behind me.”
Singh is expected to feature in his next fight on February next year.
