A total of $84,000 was raised during the 2022 Frank Hilton Wheelbarrow Battle which took place at Albert Park in Suva yesterday.
Frank Hilton Organisation CEO Sureni Perera said funds raised would go towards supporting the Hilton House Hostel which is located on Brown St.
“We provide care to children with very severe disabilities and medical conditions who are placed in our care because of lack of family support or because of risk of neglect or abuse,” she said.
“This is an annual event which first started in 2016 – the money was raised through all the corporate teams participating in the physical race.”
