Gilbert has partnered with Netball Fiji as its official ball supplier for the next three years.
As part of the partnership, SportsWorld Fiji — the distributor of Gilbert brand in Fiji presented Netball Fiji with 90 netball match balls and scheduled to give the other 180 will be supplied in the next two years.
Gilbert is a renowned ball producer and the partnership will provide quality match balls for Netball Fiji’s domestic tournaments and other netball engagements in the country and assist the Fiji team to prepare well for the next tournament.
General manager Vinod Kumar said the Gilbert brand had already established a very good relationship and trust with Fiji Rugby Union and unions around the world and it is very important that our ladies in Fiji are not missed out on this.
“Gilbert has positioned itself as the world’s leading Netball Rugby Union Brand,” he said.
Netball Fiji chief executive officer Vivian Koster said: “We are honoured to partner with Gilbert netball, the official match ball provider for the Netball World Cup through their Fiji distributor — SportsWorld Fiji,” she said.
“We have enjoyed a long relationship with SportsWorld Fiji to assist in game of netball in Fiji and are proud to continue to partner with them in days to come.”
