$10,000 support for Pinktober celebrations

In a bid to boost support for cancer awareness in the country, Telecom Fiji Ltd has donated $10,000 to the Fiji Cancer Society (FCS) as part of Pinktober celebrations in Suva this week.

According to Telecom Fiji’s general manager corporate service and human resource Samuela Vadei, the work done by FCS was quite extensive.

“We thank the Fiji Cancer Society for sharing the importance of raising awareness on cancer at workplaces, and for staff to share their knowledge at home,” he said.

“Telecom Fiji is proud to contribute for this year’s Pinktober donations and through our contribution which will support the cause to raise awareness, promote wellness and support those affected by cancer so that no one has to fight alone.”

Telecom has supported the Fiji Cancer Society over the past seven years.
