Rugby Sevens World Cup rep Kaminieli Rasaku made his presence known in the French Top 14 rugby championship with a try.
Rasaku scored 40 minutes into his Bayonne debut.
He also copped a yellow card and conceded a penalty try for Castres, which has centre Adrea Cocagi, as his Bayonne side lost 22-39 yesterday, www.rugbyrama.fr reported.
The Fijian winger alternated the good and the less good on Saturday at Pierre-Fabre.
“He started by scoring a nice well-constructed try before making a mistake that was fatal to his team,” the report said.
On a long skipped pass from Benjamin Urdapilleta to Geoffrey Palis, Rasaku tried to intercept the ball without succeeding.
“Double penalty — penalty try and yellow card,” the report said.
