2022 BOG: Labasa defeats western giants Ba

Labasa FC has beaten western giants Ba FC in the second semi-final of the 2022 Punjas Battle of the Giants tournament underway at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.

The match was locked nil-all at full time.

The Babasiga Lions scored two goals in extra time to send Labasa FC into the final.

The goals came through Christopher Wasasala in the 3rd minute of extra spell before Edwin Sahayam added one more goal in the dying stages of the match to give Labasa FC a comfortable victory.

Farmtrac Tractors Labasa FC coach Ravneel Pratap looked animated on the sidelines as he was seen directing his players to press forward with counter-attack football.

Labasa FC will face defending BOG champions Rewa FC at 3pm tomorrow.
