2022 Coke Games: PM Bainimarama to close games

Prime  Minister  Voreqe Bainimarama will close the 2022 Coca-Cola Games at the HFC Bank Stadium at Laucala Bay Suva this afternoon.

This was confirmed by Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association general secretary Filimoni Waqa.

The games are scheduled to close at  4pm.

Meanwhile, the unofficial medal tally as at 10.45am:

Boys

  • Suva Grammar School lead with  6 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze; total 12 medals
  • QVS – 5 gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze = 13 medals
  • RKS – 3 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze = 10
  • MBHS – 2 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze =9
  • MGM – 2 gold, 1 silver = 3

Girls

  • ACS – 5 gold, 7 silver 7 bronze = 19
  • St Joseph’s: 4 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze = 7
  • Jasper: 4 gold 1 silver, 1 bronze  = 6
  • SGS: 3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze  = 7
