The 40-year-old man charged for the alleged murder of 46-year-old Suman Lata in Tomuka, appeared at the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Safil Ali, appeared before Magistrate Sekonaia Vodokisolomone charged with one count of murder, one count of arson and two counts of criminal intimidation.
Ali was represented by Rajshneel Chand of JK Singh Lawyers while the State was represented by Police prosecutor Inspector Arvind Kumar.
In Court, Magistrate Vodokisolomone transferred the case to the High Court as the charges against Ali were indictable.
