Nadi is the new Farebrother Trophy champion after wresting the 82-year-old coveted silverware from holders Naitasiri at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori this afternoon.
Nadi won 14-12.
Halftime Nadi led 8-0 with a try and penalty conversion, but the hillmen hit back in the first five minutes of the second half with two quick tries to change the lead 12-11 three minutes to end.
It was the boot of farmer and fullback Tevita Mociu that took the trophy down West after he slotted a late penalty in the 78th minute.
