A coastal inundation warning remains in force for the southern coastal areas of Kadavu, Beqa, Vatulele, southern Viti Levu, Moala, Matuku, Totoya, Moce, Kabara, Ogea, Fulaga, Vatoa and Ono-i-Lau.
The special weather bulletin issued by the Fiji Meteorological Service at 2am also reiterated the strong wind warning in force for southwest Viti Levu waters, Kadavu and Vatu-i-Ra passage, Koro sea and Lau waters, Yasawa and Mamanuca waters.
The weatherman forecasts a situation of high pressure system to the far southwest of the group, and is expected to generate strong winds and large waves that may result in coastal inundation or sea flooding over the southern coastal areas in places that have been advised.
The areas below are advised to expect coastal sea flooding, especially during high tides from today until Sunday:
