The All Blacks 7s side have a made a winning start to the 46th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s thumping Marist 36-nil in its opening match.
The Kiwis started strong and scored four unanswered tries in the first spell to lead 22-nil at half-time.
They added two more converted tries in the second spell to start the tournament on a high.
Meanwhile, there were major upsets in the first round of matches.
Maravu Taveuni upset Tabadamu 12-10 while Raiwasa Taveuni lost to Mount Crusaders 14-nil.
