Fiji Pearls went down to Tonga 68-54 at the PacificaAus Sports series in Australia yesterday.
Fiji led in the first quarter 11-18 but unfortunately they lost their tough in the second quarter with Tonga taking the lead 36-22.
Despite their win against Samoa on Monday, the Una Rokoura side wanted to continue with the momentum but unfortunately couldn’t keep up with the island kingdom as they extended their lead 52-35.
They will play Papua New Guinea and Singapore on Thursday before the final at 3pm on Saturday.
