The Nadi weather office says Tropical Disturbance TD03F will become a tropical low by midnight tonight and attain a category 1 Tropical Cyclone status by 12pm tomorrow.
In a threat map issued by the Fiji Meteorological Service, the category one cyclone will have an effect on whole of Viti Levu.
For Land areas of the Western half of Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca group, expect strong northwest to northeasterly winds upto 55km/hr.
For the rest of Fiji group, there will be moderate to fresh northerly to easterly winds, becoming predominantly northerly from tomorrow.
