CCTV footage reviewed during the Nausori Highland murder case show deceased Nirmal Kumar his wife Usha Devi, their daughter Nileshni Kajal, 34, and their grandchildren Sanah Singh, 11 and Samarah Singh, 8, getting into a rented car with Mohammed Isoof.
The footage given as evidence by State witness Deputy director Organised Crime Acting Superintendent Aiyaz Ali tracked Mr Isoof’s movements in Nadi.
Mr Ali told the court, CCTV footage obtained from New World Supermarket at Votualevu showed the five victims leaving with Mr Isoof a day before their bodies were found at the Nausori Highlands.
He said the group left at 9.16am before their vehicle was caught passing Satya’s Shopping Centre in Mulomulo.
According to Mr Ali, the shopping centre was located along a stretch of road leading up to Nausori Highlands.
He said police investigators found that the car was rented by Mr Isoof who was also identified by the rental company owner.
