Good news for M-PAiSA users who are ANZ bank customers you can now transfer money from your ANZ bank account directly into M-PAiSA without the need to visit the bank or an M-PAiSA agent.
This was made possible after the launch of the ANZ-M-PAiSA partnership yesterday in Suva.
Vodafone chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad said through ANZ’s internet banking or the ANZ Pacific App consumers could use the bill pay option, select Vodafone M-PAiSA as the biller, enter your M-PAiSA mobile number and transfer amount and transfer money from anywhere, anytime.
He said consumers’ M-PAiSA account would be credited with the transferred amount within a maximum of 15 minutes.
“The good news is that this is a free service (with zero fees) and M-PAiSA users who are ANZ customers will be able to enjoy this service from today,” he said.
Mr Prasad said M-PAiSA had become a critical digital financial service platform.
“During the COVID pandemic we were able to process cash assistance to 1000s of people directly on their mobile all through electronic and paperless processes.”
Mr Prasad said the pandemic had put M-PAiSA service in the limelight as everyone as it was secured, accessible cashless and contactless payment and money transfer service.
