A man in his 60s died following an accident while at work on Rabi Island, Vanua Levu, yesterday morning.
Police said the man from Nakalou Village in Dreketi, Macuata, was operating a roller machine when it rolled down a cliff.
The incident occurred at Levuka Settlement, Rabi.
“He tried to jump to safety but was unfortunately caught under the heavy machine allegedly resulting in his death,” Police said today.
Investigations are continuing.
