A trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the eastern parts of the group while another trough of low pressure lies just to the west of the country.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says a moist easterly wind flow continues to prevail over the Fiji group.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers, becoming heavy at times over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands (Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Kadavu and Taveuni) and the Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Partly cloudy with afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms elsewhere.

Isolated heavy falls expected.

Moderate easterly winds, fresh at times and moderate to rough seas.

The outlook for Thursday, expect showers to continue over the eastern parts.
