An afternoon bush fire in Vunato, Lautoka spread to the Classic Buses garage this afternoon.
Police spokesman Wame Bautolu said the blaze started from nearby bushes at around 4.30pm before spreading to the yard.
Classic Buses director Adnan Mohammed confirmed the incident.
He said fire officers managed to put out the fire at 6pm.
“Firefighters saved the bus and we managed to move a few buses as well away from the garage well beforehand,”Mr Mohammed said.
Police said investigations continue.
