A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers remains over Fiji.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says the trough is gradually moving eastwards and is expected to clear from the group midday today.
The forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group, expect 0ccasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the eastern and northern division.
Cloudy periods with some showers elsewhere.

For mariners, expect moderate northeasterly winds, turning southeasterly and becoming fresh and gusty from later today as the trough passes.
Moderate seas, becoming rough over southern Fiji waters from later today.
The outlook for Friday, cloudy periods with brief showers over the eastern parts and interior of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Kadavu.
Elsewhere, mainly fine. Cool at night.
