Lami Kava has recommenced production after receiving its permit to operate in a COVID-safe manner.
According to the Fijian Made’s online platform, Lami Kava had employed more than 40 people at its processing centre and retail outlets pre-COVID.
It had supported as many as 600 farmers and 3000 livelihoods through the purchase of yaqona.
It stated the impact of the second wave had not deterred them.
The Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport had stated it would further boost their business through their National Export Strategy.
Lami Kava through the access of a freezer truck would continue to strengthen their quality control from harvest to processing and packaging a wholly Fijian Made product sold locally and through its E-shop.
