VODAFONE Fiji has announced the appointment of a new CEO to replace outgoing head Aslam Khan.
The company’s board chairman, Ajith Kodagoda, said Mr Khan had retired from the position of managing director and had held the position since the inception of the company 20 years ago.
He said Vodafone Fiji Limited’s chief operating officer Pradeep Lal had been chosen to succeed Mr Khan as the next CEO of the company.
“Mr Lal has been with the company for more than 10 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the mobile telecommunications industry, strategic planning and leadership, finance, sales, marketing and human resource management.”
Mr Lal is expected to assume the position of company CEO from July 1. Meanwhile, Mr Kodagoda said Mr Khan would officially end his tenure on June 30 this year.
