The body of a 39-year-old woman who was alleged to have jumped off the Rewa Bridge last Saturday has been found.
Police say the body was found floating in the Wainibokasi river this morning
A joint search team involving divers from the Police Special Response Unit and officers from within the Eastern Division ended their operation this morning after the body was found.
The team pursued the searching effort despite the adverse weather condition over the weekend.
Police also acknowledged the support provided by the Public towards the search in the past few days.
Investigations continue.
