Children across Fijian churches took the centre stage of their churches today to lead and participate in the main worship service.
Christians all around the country commemorate Palm Sunday today to symbolise the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, and as children greeted him chanting “Hosanna” and waving palm leaves.
On this day, children are usually given the honour to lead church services, perform drama, skits and even recite memory verses.
The famous church hymn ‘Hosanna in the highest’ and the Bible scripture Jesus is King echoed in various church halls around the country.
