Fijian Elections Office releases voter statistics

There were 650,081 registered voters in Fiji as at December 31, 2020, states the Fijian Elections Office 2020 annual report.

Of this, there were 325,936 males and 324,155 females. The Central Division had 274,033 voters, the highest in Fiji.

There were more female voters in the Central Division when compared with males.

There were 138,690 females registered as voters and 135,340 males.

The Western Division had 246 609 voters, of which 123,727 were males and 122,879 females.

There were 96,150 voters registered in the Northern Division, of which 48,958 were males and 47,189 females.

Of the 25,432 registered voters in the Eastern Division, 13,610 were males and 11,821 females.

A total of 7867 overseas-based voters were registered by the FEO as at December 31, 2020.
