As part of their corporate social responsibility, a total of 30 Water of Authority of Fiji (WAF) staff from the Western Division spent their lunch hour planting more than 3,200 mangrove seedlings last Friday.
This initiative will provide long term benefits not just for our generation but for future generations as well and we encourage others to do the same.
Mangroves are one of the strongest natural defenses when it comes to protecting our shorelines from the devastating effects of climate change.
