Newly inducted leaders of Annesley Methodist Infant School were reminded to be good listeners to their teachers during their prefects induction on Monday.

Officiating at the event, communications officer of the Methodist Church of Fiji, Reverend Wilfred Regunamada commended the newly appointed student leaders on being selected, for displaying good character and ability making them candidates for leadership positions.

Fifty students were inducted as prefects during the ceremony.

The school inducted Solomone Madau as head boy and Treeza Changaiya as head girl while Amani Vakatawa was badged as the deputy head boy and Vatiri Vinakainavonu as deputy head girl.

Parents and guardians were also present at the event to congratulate the newly-appointed leaders.
