THE new Denarau Island Convention Centre was opened last week.
Area general manager Shane Cunning said the new centre, which boosts 1500 seated guests, aimed to attract larger conventions and exhibitions to Fiji from around the world.
The centre will host its first big event in May — the Fijian Tourism Expo.
