The Nadroga Rugby Union has taken on board their initiative to help those who were affected by Tropical Cyclones Yasa and Ana.

NRU games coordinator Talica Dakia said they have a charitable arm that looks after their appeal.

She said the Hakwa foundation is operating under the Vodafone ATH charitable organization.

“From the Nadroga rugby we have been contributing to the foundation,” she said.

“We donate $1 from each admission that comes to the ground so with this music festival that we have it goes straight to the foundation.

“Having the music festival here accommodate and engage the players, spectators to be involved by donating whatever they can to help those who have been affected by two tropical cyclones that hit the country for the past weeks.”

She added that the Hakwa Foundation will then decide when and where they will use the money.
