A strong wind warning remains in force for land areas of Yasawa Group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller Islands, Northern Parts of Viti Levu, Coral Coast to Pacific Harbour and Lau and Lomaiviti Group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi today says the forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect fresh to strong easterly winds with average speed upto 45km/hr gusting upto 55km/hr for Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Northeast Viti Levu, Coral coast to Pacific Harbour, the Lau and Lomaviti group.
Elsewhere, moderate to fresh easterly winds, gusty at times and rough seas.
Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Eastern half of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and the Northern Lau group.
Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
Isolated heavy falls likely.
The outlook for Tuesday expect occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca group, eastern half of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and the Northern Lau group Cloudy periods with isolated afternoon evening thunderstorms elsewhere. Isolated heavy falls likely.
