Lautoka’s Zunaid Khan will make his debut at the Mr Fiji Bodybuilding Championship at the Suva Civic Centre on Saturday.
A chef by profession, Khan took up the sport four years ago. The 25-year-old who resides at Drasa Avenue said his interest grew after watching videos of overseas bodybuilders.
“I have not participated in any other competitive sport,” Khan said.
“This is my first championship, so it will be exposure at the competitive level.
“Next year I will try to win titles and also aim to represent the country in games abroad.
“My aim is to create more awareness in bodybuilding so more people can take up the sport.”
Khan is based at the Body Academy Gymnasium in Lautoka.
