SCGF announces two new appointments

The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) has appointed two of its internal staff to management positions.

Sheetal Shalini who joined the Fund about 14 years ago as an Information Technology Officer has progressed through the ranks to the Manager Information Technology.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT), and specialises in Software Engineering from the University of Fiji (UniFiji), and has completed Postgraduate Diploma in IT.

She is also a recipient of Reuben James Summerlin scholarship enrolled in Chartered Digital Finance Practitioners (CDFP) Certification offered through the Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI).

SCGF chief executive Raj Sharma said Ms Shalini was now pursuing her Masters in Information Technology and she had managed the new ICT project for the Fund successfully, which was at its final stage of completion.

Loans officer Sagar Dayal has been appointed as Manager Lending and Operation and will be based at the head office in Lautoka.

Mr Sharma said Mr Dayal came with 17 years of cane farming lending experience.

Mr Dayal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Public Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce from USP.
