Fijians who travelled to Nabouwalu, Bua, from Natovi on the Patterson Shipping ferry last Friday are advised to urgently contact the Northern Division COVID-19 helpline.

It is understood that a person of interest who had a travel history to India was on the same ferry.

These passengers can contact the Northern Division COVID-19 helpline on 2219908.

“Advise them of your health status and location if they haven’t contacted you already – as we’ve given your contact details to them,” the company said in a notice posted on its Facebook page.

“If you didn’t travel but know someone that did, please pass on this message to them!

“Let’s work together to help the authorities in doing their work tracing the latest COVID-19 patients.

“Our hopes and prayers are with all those affected by this virus and together we shall overcome.”

Fiji presently has seven cases of COVID-19.
