A TROUGH of low pressure lies just to the West of Fiji.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says the trough of low pressure is accompanied by associated clouds and showers which will affect the group.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers and few thunderstorms over the Vanua Levu and the northern and eastern parts of Viti Levu.
Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms elsewhere.
Isolated heavy falls expected with localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
For mariners expect moderate easterly winds and moderate seas.
The outlook for Sunday expect cloudy periods with some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.
Elsewhere, showers and thunderstorms especially in the afternoon or evening.
