MEMBERS of the Chinese community in Fiji have been cautioned on how to prevent and control coronavirus.
China’s Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo said he had had talks with the community on the risk factors surrounding this deadly disease.
And although there were no current reports recorded from the community yet, Mr Qian said it was pivotal to take necessary safety tips to avoid it from ever happening.
“We have cautioned the Chinese community several times already. So far, there were no reports about any of them apart of the ones said already,” Mr Qian said.
“There is no report so far to the embassy from the Chinese community.
“We have alerted all the leaders of the Chinese Community to prevent and control this virus.
“We are confident that we are going to win this battle and it’s only and matter of time, maybe it will take two or three months.
“This is the critical time for China to control and prevent.”
