PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama received a full briefing from NDMO on the damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
According to the Government, teams are already on the ground helping Fijians.
Also present at the meeting were Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Minister for Minister for Employment Opportunities, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate.
NDMO Director Vasiti Soko updated the Fijian media this afternoon on the current situation of TC Sarai.
She said while the current path of the TC suggested that it will move away from the country, the NDMO officers will be on grounds until and unless the last of the flood alerts are cancelled.
