Vanua Balavu festival: $417k raised on second day

AFTER the second day of the Vanua Balavu Day Festival a total of $417,000 has been raised.

Currently the soli is still being carried out by different villages from the Vanua Balavu group.

Chief Executive of Vanua Balavu Vision Limited, Tomi Finau said the Vanua Balavu people living in the US will close the soli later this afternoon.

“The people of Vanua Balavu who live in Australia opened the festivities yesterday with a financial contribution of $7,036,” he said.
