Police: Car smashes into coffee shop at Nadi airport

A CAR went over the kerb at the Nadi International Airport and smashed into a door at about 9 o’clock last night.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the vehicle crashed into the coffee shop at the Burger King side of the departure lounge entrance.

“The driver is admitted at the Nadi hospital and was believed to have been drunk,” she said.

Police are continuing their investigations.
