THE annual CPA Congress is only the latest in the string of major regional and international gatherings Fiji has had the privilege to host on the Fijian shores.

Speaking at the CPA Congress this morning, Minister for Defense Inia Seruiratu said he believed that the congress, with its range of accomplished speakers, to be among the most prestigious and future focused discussions ever hosted in the country.

“In my view the range of topics in front of you represent some of the compelling and pressing of the day,” he said.

CPA Australia Fiji branch president Nouzab Fareed said the congress had about 531 delegates who would have the opportunity to hear from experts in their own fields.

The congress is held at the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort.
