THE OPERATIONAL Plan workshop is an important workshop in the sense that it determines how the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs  will fulfill the mandated role given to it.

This was highlighted by the Selai Adimaitoga the Assistant Minister for the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs during their operational plan workshop held at the Holiday Inn, in Suva today.

She said this roles were inclusive to socioeconomic development and the transformational strategic thrusts which was essential to the sustainability of the programmes of the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs.

“Our presence today is intended to provide us an opportunity to know each other better, beyond the name and title, and above all share knowledge in building a platform for our institution.”

“This is an opportunity to introduce your units and talk about your expectations, professional interests, as well as give us all here a sense of the contribution we can expect from each Unit Head, and how the policies we develop will advise Government, on how best we can serve the interests of the iTaukei people.”

The workshop ends tomorrow.
