2019 Pacific Games: Shooting begins today

EIGHT nations will compete in the shooting competition which begins today at the Tafaigata Shooting Range.

Fijian shooter Glenn Kable and defending champion in the individual double barrel said he was ready to defend his title and is excited about it.

The four-time Olympian will begin his competition on Wednesday.

This year will be the sixth time that shooting has featured in the Pacific Games after first being introduced at the Pacific Games in 1987.

The countries – Fiji, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga will compete in six different categories.
