The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has embarked on preparation for the next general election, with consultations in progress with stakeholders about the strategic foundation document.
The document contains the FEO’s visions, missions, and core values.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said once that was finalised, it would pave the way for the conduct of the next general elections.
Based on the provisions in the Constitution, he said the first day for the Writ for the next General Election could be issued on May 26, 2022.
